Brandy Privacy Policy

Overview

Brandy Inc. ('Brandy') operates the Brandy Shopify App and Brandy Consumer App. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our Services.

Information We Collect

We collect merchant store information, Shopify order data required for referral attribution, consumer account information, encrypted referral identifiers, usage billing data from merchants, and information used to pay consumers for purchases driven to merchants who are active on Brandy at the time the purchase is made.

Eligibility
Brandy is not intended for or targeted at persons under 18 and must be able to work in the United States. By using Brandy, you represent that you are of legal working age. We do not knowingly collect information about children or users who are not legally of working age. If you believe that we have collected information about a minor or someone who is not of legal working age, please contact us at talktoahuman@brandy.app, and we will delete such information.

Referral Attribution

Referral links contain encrypted, non-PII identifiers used solely to attribute qualifying first-time purchases.

Billing

Merchants are billed only after successful first-time purchase conversions via Shopify’s Billing API in accordance to the one-time and subscription type purchase payouts they have set within the Brandy App dashboard. Referral payouts applied at checkout through the use of encrypted Brandy referral links in accordance with Brandy policies reflect payouts specified by merchants at the time the referral link is generated when users share their referral with others (either actively or passively) from their Brandy account on iOS or Android.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers or as required by law.

Data Retention & Security

We retain data only as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. We use encryption, secure API authentication, and role-based access controls.

GDPR & CCPA Rights

Users may request access, deletion, correction, or portability of personal data by contacting talktoahuman@brandy.app.
